Bed of fresh cut butter lettuce
Bed of fresh cut kale
Cucumber

KL's RAW WEDNESDAY SMOOTHIE

1 cup fresh OJ (not from concentrate)
1 cup fresh cut kale
1 fresh peeled mango, seed removed
.5 cup fresh peeled cucumber
1 tablespoon raw blue agave
1 dash cinnamon
2 distilled water ice cubes

No cooking necessary.
Just blend and enjoy.
Serves two (2).

KL's RAW WALNUT PESTO RECIPE

2 cups fresh basil leaves
2/3 cup raw walnuts
1/2 cup key lime
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
Dash of sea salt (to taste)
Dash of black pepper (to taste)
*3 garlic cloves (optional but not recommended)

KL's RAW ALFREDO SAUCE RECIPE

2 cups raw cashews
1.5 cups spring water
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon key lime juice
*3 garlic cloves (optional)

KL's SUPER MARIO 1UP SMOOTHIE

Power up with this powerful tropical foods smoothie after a morning workout to get the day in motion!

Kale, 1 cup
Mango, 1
Kiwi, 1 peeled
OJ, 1 cup (not from concentrate)
Cayenne, 1 dash
Cinnamon, 1 dash
Raw Blue Agave, 1 tablespoon

KL's CHICKPEA AND KALE SKILLET

KL's RED QUINOA STIR FRY

Here's a great stir fry I put together with 100% pure grape seed oil---it's known for it's high heat tolerance and nutritional value!

The red quinoa that is pictured was prepared prior to adding it to the stir fry recipe.

Quinoa cooks up best using a 1:2 water to grain ratio. Example is 1 cup quinoa to 2 cups water. Simmer covered for 15 minutes [or] until soft and fluffy.

Ingredients:

Kale
Yellow onion
Yellow bell pepper
Red bell pepper
Yellow squash
Red quinoa
Sea salt
Cayenne pepper
Basil
Onion powder
Marjoram

Prep:

Rinse and clean all vegetables while heating one tablespoon pure grape seed oil in a large skillet with.
Add your favorite combination of the following vegetables and herbs then stir-fry for three (3) to five (5) minutes on medium-high heat.

BOOM!!!

All done.
