TODAY I ADDED 6 FRESH FROZEN STRAWBERRY, 3 DRIED MISSION FIGS, 1 CUP FRESH 100% ORANGE JUICE (NOT FROM CONCENTRATE), 1 FRESH D'ANJOU PEAR (SKIN & SEEDS REMOVED), 1/2 TABLESPOON DR. SEBI SEAMOSS/BLADDERWRACK MIX, 1 TEASPOON GROUND CINNAMON, 6 SPRING WATER ICE CUBES, & 1 TABLESPOON OF ORGANIC RAW AGAVE NECTAR---THEN BLENDED IT (ON PULSE) ALL UP UNTIL IT WAS SMOOTH TO MY LIKENESS.

Get your blender, add .5 tablespoon of Dr. Sebi Seamoss/Bladderwrack mix, 1 cup of fresh 100% Orange Juice (Never From Concentrate), 1 d'Anjou Pear (skin removed), 1 cup of frozen fresh Strawberries, .5 cup Cucumber (skin removed), 1 teaspoon of Cinnamon, 1-2 tablespoon of Raw Agave Nectar (more to taste) and pulse in blender until smooth!!

SO THIS STUFFED RED BELL PEPPER IS WHAT I MADE FOR DINNER WITH THE LEFT-OVER CHICKPEAS FROM THE PREVIOUS POST...

INGREDIENTS:


RED BELL PEPPER
ORGANIC WILD RICE - 1/2 CUP UNCOOKED
YELLOW ONION - DICED
ORGANIC CHICKPEAS
SEA SALT - DASH (OR TO TASTE)
CAYENNE PEPPER - DASH (OR TO TASTE)
THYME - DASH (OR TO TASTE)
CUMIN - DASH (OR TO TASTE)
BASIL - DASH (OR TO TASTE)
ONION POWDER - DASH (OR TO TASTE)
ORGANIC GINGER - DASH (OR TO TASTE)
EXTRA-VIRIGN OLIVE OIL - 2 TABLESPOONS


PREP (IF USING ALREADY PREPARED CHICKPEAS):


BOIL 1/2 CUP WILD RICE IN 1 1/2 CUPS SPRING WATER (COVERED) FOR 45 MINUTES OR UNTIL SOFT & FLUFFY---WATER SHOULD BE ABOUT 90% EVAPORATED.
PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 325 DEGREES.
WASH & CUT THE THE TOP OFF OF BELL PEPPER (REMOVE PIT, BUT KEEP SEEDS!!!).
SAUTE WILD RICE, CHICKPEAS, DICED YELLOW ONION, BELL PEPPER SEEDS, AND SPICES IN 2 TABLESPOONS OLIVE OIL FOR 3-5 MINUTES.
OVER-STUFF BELL PEPPER(S) AND PUT THE TOP BACK ON.
PLACE IN OVEN-SAFE DISH AND PUT INTO THE OVEN FOR 8-10 MINUTES, REMOVE & ENJOY!!

YELLOW BELL PEPPER(s)
100% WHOLE SPELT FLOUR
SEA SALT
CAYENNE PEPPER
BASIL
THYME
ONION POWDER
EXTRA-VIRGIN OLIVE OIL


PREP:


HEAT OLIVE OIL IN A SMALL TO MEDIUM SIZE PAN.


WASH & SLICE BELL PEPPERS AS YOU WOULD "FRENCH FRIES" THEN SOAK IN PURE WATER WITH A DASH OF THYME. 


IN A MEDIUM BOWL BOWL (FOR YOUR FRY BATTER), ADD  SPELT FLOUR AND A DASH OF THE FOLLOWING: SEA SALT, CAYENNE PEPPER, BASIL, & ONION POWDER.


BATTER THE BELL PEPPERS & FRY IN OLIVE OIL FOR 4 MINUTES (LONGER FOR A CRISPIER TASTE) TURNING HALF-WAY THROUGH COOKING TIME.


BOOM---ENJOY!!

This meal will come together quite FAST if you prepare the chickpeas in advance, which I usually prepare 1 cup (uncooked) chickpeas to use in multiple meals---since chickpeas taste way better (and easily digestible) if slow-cooked!

ASPARAGUS
YELLOW ONION
BABY BELLA MUSHROOMS
RED BELL PEPPER

ONION POWDER
OLIVE OIL

PREP:

BRING CHICKPEAS, A FEW SLICES OF YELLOW ONION, & BAY LEAVES TO A BOIL THEN COVER & SIMMER FOR 1.5 - 2 HOURS. STRAIN.

WASH & SLICE ALL VEGGIES IN PROPER PORTIONS AS YOU WOULD FOR A "STIR-FRY" DISH.

COOK:

SAUTE COOKED CHICKPEAS, FRESH VEGGIES IN OLIVE OIL WHILE ADDING A DASH OF SEA SALT, CAYENNE PEPPER, ONION POWDER, BASIL, AND OREGANO FOR 4-5 MINUTES OVER MEDIUM FLAME.

INGREDIENTS:

SPELT BERRIES - 1 CUP COOKED & COOLED
GRANNY SMITH APPLE - SLICED IN CHUNKS
GROUND CINNAMON - 1 TEASPOON
CAYENNE PEPPER - 1 TEASPOON
RAW ALMOND BUTTER - 1 TABLESPOON
RAW BLUE AGAVE SYRUP - 1 TEASPOON

YOU'LL NEED A SMALL BOWL OR CUP FOR THIS!

SALAD DRESSING:

1 TABLESPOON EXTRA-VIRGIN OLIVE OIL (2 TABLESPOONS---EVEN BETTER; DAILY RECOMMENDED DOSAGE)
1 TEASPOON RAW BLUE AGAVE
1 DASH SEA SALT (OPTIONAL)

TRY THIS FAST & GUILT-LESS RECIPE AND YOU'LL IMPRESS YOURSELF---I SURE DID!!

PREP TIME: 10 MIN
COOK TIME: 10 MIN
SERVES: 1

INGREDIENTS:

1, ORGANIC YELLOW ONION
.5 CUP, ORGANIC SPELT FLOUR
.5 TEASPOON, CAYENNE PEPPER
.25 TEASPOON, SEA SALT
.5 TEASPOON, ONION POWDER
DASH, BASIL
1 CUP*, EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL

PREP:

HEAT OLIVE OIL IN A SMALL TO MEDIUM PAN ON MEDIUM HEAT.
ADD 1/2 CUP SPELT FLOUR, SEA SALT, CAYENNE, & ONION POWDER TO A SMALL BOWL WITH A LID (ADD SEASONING TO YOUR TASTE AND LIKING) AND MIX WELL.
SLICE YELLOW ONION AND SOAK IN COLD WATER UNTIL READY TO USE.

ADD ONIONS TO MIX AND SHAKE UNTIL COATED WITH BATTER AND COOK IN HEATED OLIVE OIL 3-4 MINUTES UNTIL GOLDEN.

REMOVE FROM OIL AND PLACE ON CLOTH OR PAPER TOWEL TO REMOVE EXCESS OIL, SPRINKLE WITH A DASH OF SEA SALT & BASIL.

THEY TASTE GOOD ENOUGH TO EAT WITHOUT KETCHUP OR SAUCE!!

THIS FAST & FIRRRRRE SMOOTHIE RECIPE IS HOW I POWERED-UP AFTER MY MORNING WORKOUT!

PREP TIME: 5 MIN

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/4 CUP HIGH PULP 100% OJ
1/4 CUP RAW BLUE AGAVE SYRUP
1 BOSC PEAR (RINSED WELL & SKIN REMOVED)
10 STRAWBERRIES (RINSED WELL & LEAVES REMOVED)
1/2 TABLESPOON DR. SEBI SEAMOSS/BLADDERWRACK MIX


PREP:
MEASURE AND ADD ALL INGREDIENTS TO A BLENDER AND PULSE UNTIL MIXED WELL (30-60 SECONDS)!
