KL's HOMEMADE ORGANIC HUMMUS

Homemade hummus from scratch.

Since I post hummus recipes often, I decided not to post this one and simply share the picture since I have a lust and love for good-looking food... #foodie #foodporn ;)

Hummus is excellent room temperature, warmed out chilled with chips as a dip, on pitas or all by itself!

The tomato and the basil are fresh-picked from my backyard garden in Tempe, AZ.

Prep Time: 8 hours (soak 1 cup chickpeas overnight)
Cook Time: 3 hours (slow cook chickpeas on simmer for 2-3 hours)

Serves: 4-6
